Prologue As the Empire grows ever more powerful, the Rebel Alliance constantly seeks a weakness in the galactic juggernaut. Invaluable to these efforts are the reconnaissance missions undertaken on Coruscant, the ecumenopolis capital of the Empire. Danger lurks in the shadows of the city. A recent Rebel team sent word of a powerful artifact being sought by agents of the Empire, before they went missing, presumed captured. Now a new team of operatives races through hyperspace into the heart of the Empire to find more about this mysterious artifact and continue the mission of their comrades. Mission Rebel HQ sent a team of operatives to Coruscant with a mission to find and retrieve so called Bardottan sphere. The mission was led by three selected operatives - Cerean Ko-Tun Feralo, Wookiee Drokkatta and Jarrod Kelvin. Upon arrival on Coruscant and several initial encounters, the team learnt that several other parties knew about the artifact - Imperial officer Zaaryn, who pursued his personal agenda; Lorn, Imperial bureaucrat, who was doing researches in Jedi lore and Maul, former Sith gone rogue. During one of the recon missions, Feralo met Jyn Odan, a smuggler who often works for the Rebel Alliance, they exchanged some intel for mutual benefit. First the operatives rescued the members of the previous Rebel group from prison. Next the operatives decided to split up to pursue all leads at the same time, believing that this was the fastest way to find the sphere. The group that followed Zaaryn soon found out that he was trying to find the sphere with the help of Maul and his organization. Another group met with Lorn, finding out from him everything he knew - saving him from capture by the Imperial patrol in the process. It soon became clear that the shards of the sphere were hidden in an old Jedi temple on Coruscant, and the operatives set out to search and retrieve it. At the temple, they encountered and confronted Darth Vader and Palpatine, but managed to escape capture - although Lorn was captured - it left unclear if Lorn intended to bring the sphere to Palpatine from the beginning - or his under influence of Palpatine's mind control powers. At the same time, it became known that Zaaryn betrayed Maul, captured the group that followed him and delivered them to the prison facility on Coruscant. It also became clear that Vader was able to find one of the sphere shards and brought it to Palpatine. With the help of Ahsoka Tano, who was sent by the Rebel HQ to help the group, the operatives were able to rescue their comrades from captivity, retrieve back the shard from Palpatine and escape Coruscant. Despite the danger of the sphere falling into the hands of the Empire, the Command agreed with Tano's arguments and it was decided not to destroy the sphere, but to hide it. Campaign map:
